I worked as staff photographer for the English-language Newspaper in Costa Rica called THE TICO TIMES. Here are some of my favorite publications.
This was my first story idea for a Photo Essay... I got up at 4am and took three buses to photograph the early work of this oxcart men or "Boyero"
I did a series of photo essays on historic business in San José, the capital of Costa Rica. Here is a factory of umbrellas, a very important thing to have when you live in a tropical country.
This is the first full story that I wrote for the newspaper. Sadly, Poncho died in 2011.
