Flash Photography Course
A one-on-one flash photography class where you can learn all the basics you need to use your flash!
San Francisco Bay Area
The course consists of 10 hours of instruction
6 hours at the location chosen by you (home, work, library… you decide!)
One field trip to the San Francisco Botanical Garden – or another place to be determined (4 hours)

Contents of the course:
- What is a flash?
- How does a flash work?
- Direction of the light and why it is important for composition.
- Using flash as complement for available light (Fill Flash)
- Using flash as the main source of light (Full Flash)
- On camera flash, how to use it?
- Off camera flash, how to use it?
- Different flash triggers – cable, infrared, radio.
- Introduction to multiple flash photography.

Cost:
- One person: $350.00 ($35.00 per hour)
- Two people: $700.00 ($50.00 per hour) – both must work with the same camera brand.
- Group size limited to a maximum of 2 students to ensure intimate instruction and best learning environment as well as in-depth review of each of the students’ cameras

Schedule of the course:
- 3 weeks program – 2 session of 3 hours per week, and one session of 4 hours.
- 2 weeks program – one full day of 6 hour session and one 4 hour field trip.
