Still on the road. Todavía viajando.

I have been traveling with two more Intergenerational Digital Photography groups the past 3 weeks, so it’s been very busy. I have not had time to edit the photos from the past tour, so I wont be able to show those for a while. Therefore, I decided to try and show you some of the highlights of the tour I am doing right now.

He estado viajando con otros dos tours Intergeneracionales de Fotografía Digital las últimas tres semanas, entonces he estado bien ocupada. Ni siquiera he tenido tiempo de editar las fotos del tour pasado, entonces no podré mostrarlas por un tiempo. Entonces, decidí tratar de mostrarles los momentos especiales del tour que estoy haciendo ahora.

The plantations in the hills of volcan Irazú, with Cartago and the Talamanca Mountain Range in the back. / Las plantaciones en las faldas del volcán Irazú, con la ciudad de Cartago atrás y la Cordillera de Talamanca al fondo.

The first day of our tour we had the opportunity to go visit the Irazú Volcano, finally the weather gave us a break!
And the highlight of this visit was a group of coatimundis that let me get close enough to get some shots with my 28mm f1.8. Here are my favorites.

El primer día del tour tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar el Volcán Irazú, finalmente el clima nos dió un descanso!
Lo más interesante de esta visita para mi fue un grupo de pizotes que me dejaron acercarme lo suficiente como para fotografiarlos con mi objetivo 28mm f1.8. Estas son mis favoritas.

We were many around them. / Eramos muchos a su alrededor.

Even though I cut its tail, this is more or less the picture I was looking for. / Aunque le corté la cola, esta es mas o menos la foto que andaba buscando.

Hola! / Hello!

On our way to the hotel in Sarapiquí, Yehudi (my friend the naturalist and companion on this trips) spotted a group of Spider Monkeys… They were very high up to take a good photograph, but at least the one below it’s interesting.

De camino al hotel en Sarapiquí, Yehudi (mi amigo el naturalista y mi compañero en estos viajes) descubrió un grupo de Monos Araña… Estaban muy alto para la foto, pero por lo menos la que está abajo es interesante.

Ah! and as we keep driving, one of our clients screamed: “look at the sky!”. The most interesting formation of colors in some clouds. I used my polarizing filter to enhance the coloration, and also shot it through the polarized window of the bus.

Ah! y mientras seguíamos en la ruta, una de las clientes grita: “miren al cielo!”. La formación más interesante de colores en unas nubes. Usé mi filtro polarizador para aumentar el efecto del color, y también la tomé a través del vidrio polarizado del bus.
