Parece que es la semana de los mercados, por lo menos para mi…
Ayer, Otto Guevara, candidato a la presidencia del Movimiento Libertario visitó el mercado de Cartago. Durante la visita, muchos partidarios del movimiento le rodearon y sumando la gran cantidad de periodistas que cubrieron el evento fue difícil trabajar, así que me dediqué a tomar más fotos del ambiente que otra cosa.
Fue muy interesante ver como el mercado se tapizó de los símbolos del partido. A medida que avanzaba la caravana roji-blanca iban dejando banderas, calcomanías y afiches a todos aquellos que lo pedían, dando la impresión de que todo el mercado entero votaría por este candidato…

It seams like it’s market’s week (or at least for me…)

Yesterday, Otto Guevara, presidential candidate of the Libertarian Movement visited the central market of Cartago. During his visit, many of his supporters surrounded him and adding all the journalists that cover the event it was hard to work, so I spent more time photographing the atmosphere than anything else.

It was so interesting to see the market been upholstered by the symbols of the party. As the red-and-white caravan march the halls of the market, they left behind flags, stickers and posters to any that asked for it, giving the impression, at the end, that the whole market was going to vote for this candidate…

The party claims they are not like the "traditional politicians" but... they did have lots of flags and stickers to give away by young girls. / El partido asegura que ellos no son como los "políticos tradicionales" pero... ellos tenían muchas banderas y calcomanías que regalaban muchachas jóvenes.

Interesante encuentro... ups... será que he dicho demasiado... / Interesting encounter... ups... have I said too much?

Entre los partidarios que le econtraron en el mercado, los vendedores y los compradores, Otto Guevara siempre estuvo rodeado de gente. / Otto Guevara was always surrounded by people: its supporters that came to walk with him at the market, the vendors and the buyers.

I enjoyed very much the visit to this market, there were many interesting characters. / Disfruté muchísimo la visita a este mercado, habían muchos personajes interesantes.
