Ayer me fui a fotografiar a Ottón Solís en su visita al Mercado Central.
Eramos muchísimos fotógraf@s y camarógrafos y tuvimos que “codear” mucho, porque los pasillos y zonas del mercado son bien estrechas, pero se logró el trabajo y se gozó mucho. He aquí el resultado.
Ottón Solís es el candidato del Partido Acción Ciudadana, un partido que ha crecido desde su nacimiento en el 2002 y se ha convertido en el segundo partido más importante. / Ottón Solís is the candidate of Citizen Action Party, a party that has grown since its birth in 2002 till become the second force.
Yesterday I went to photograph Ottón Solís while his visited the Central Market of San José.
We were many photographers and videographers and we had to push a little bit, because the aisles and areas at the market are very narrow, but I got the photos and it was fun. Next you will see the results.
Desde la entrada del mercado la gente se emocionó con la visita de Ottón. / As soon as people saw him at the entrance of the market they were very excited.
Always acompanied by his wife. / Siempre acompañado de su esposa.
Besides the photojournalists, others decided to photograph him. / Además de los periodístas mucha gente se puso a fotografiar a Ottón.
Hubo intercambio de opiniones. / There was exchange of opinions.
He took some time to buy a new hat. / Sacó el tiempo para comprar un sombrero nuevo.
His wife also took time to make so shooping. / Su esposa también sacó tiempo para hacer compras.
And he tried to convince many to vote for him. / Y trató de converser a varios de votar por él.

Very informative shots. Tells of his effort to connect to the people, and the peoples response. I love the pictures of others taking the pictures–that tells me people were excited by his visit.
